Glip: Will existing RingCentral customers have access to Glip?

In response to @inhalesociety on Twitter: @Glip @RingCentral I wonder if clients like us that have been with RC 5 years will be denied the ability to use? #NotImpressed

Hello Alex,

I did some digging and it looks like this is due to account Tier. Glip is a feature available to our three tiers of Office accounts, Standard Office, Premium Office, and Ultimate Office.

It looks like your account is a ProPlus account which does not have access to Glip through your RingCentral account. You can still sign up for a Glip account separate from your RingCentral Account. The only difference would be the difference in the video chat meeting minutes available.

Also you could reach out to our Sales team and check into upgrading your RingCentral account to an Office Tier account.

Thank you,

We haven't seen the new version in Canada. When will 7.4 roll out here?

Shawn, Try to click the "Check for Update" link and if it doesn't give you the update option, let me know.  Our push should be done in just a few days.

Just letting you all know we release a new version of Glip for Android last night. You'll want to update your app as this new version performs much better! Be sure to eave a review in the Google play store and let us know what you think.
