How can I get RingCentral to integrate with my 3rd party software?

Benjamin Dean, Official Rep

We highly recommend customers who wish to see a particular integration between RingCentral and other service providers to contact your provider account representative. You're the customer and we love listening to you!
You can:
  1. Ask your service provider's account representative, "Are you working on, or do you have upcoming plans to integrate with RingCentral using the RingCentral Connect Platform"?
  2. If they are working/planning on developing an integration, you should share your needs to see if their implementation plans will address your needs
  3. If they are not working/planning on developing an integration, you should tell them how valuable it would be for you to have streamlined interoperability between "Service X" and your RingCentral communications provider. Ask them if there is an integrations product manager who would be interested in hearing about your use-case(s).
You're the customer, and while RingCentral would love to build every integration which is asked of us, that would require massive amounts of developers and would distract from our primary purpose of building best-of-breed, enterprise-class, cloud-based communication services for you!
That is why we have created the RingCentral Connect Platform and opened our API for developers, partners, and system integrators...to make it easy for customers to get what they want and for other companies to have a streamlined and self-service interface to our Platform.
Of course, for service providers who also offer an API to their customers, but may not have bandwidth to build an integration with RingCentral, you as the customer are always welcome to develop an integration for your own needs as a Private application using the Developer Portal.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Idea for expanding auto-receptionist's capabilities. At my company, KLM Orthotic Laboratories, we manufacture custom braces for doctors.  We have our own server and in-house software suited for our very specific needs.  One aspect of our system is the "pick-up" program, which allows us to schedule "pick-ups" at doctor's offices when they need to send us casts, or product needing refurbishment.  Every doctor's office has a "club number" which identifies its location.  When a doctor calls our customer service team and requests a "pick-up" our team inputs their "club number" into the "pick-up" program to schedule that "pick-up" for the following day.  If it could be made possible for the auto-receptionist to communicate with our server, allowing doctors to schedule their own pick-ups by simply inputting their "club number" followed by the # key, it would save our customer service team hours, daily.  Our company could be willing to fund the application development, considering the labor we would save once it is available.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Need fax APIs service for send multiple faxes on a single fax number at a time.. Hello,

Currently, We are using Interfax service for sending fax that is working fine if we send one fax at a time there is not much delay/failure in this type of case,
but our requirement is to send multiple faxes on a single fax number at a time and in this case, Interfax service is not working reliable and occurring much delay and failure.

I have discussed with Interfax support team and got below reply:

"It is important to note that they all go to the same number because of this: The Interfax system will NOT send multiple faxes to the same number simultaneously. This is by design."

Actually, We are a shopping/food ordering service, and in our business model, once a customer makes any order, we send a fax to the business owner. so orders to a business can be multiple at a moment and thus multiple faxes will be sent by the system and we can accept much delay in receiving a fax.

So We are looking reliable and best fax APIs.Please let us know can you help us and provide service with fulfilling our requirements(without a delay of more than 1 minute for receiving a fax when sending multiple faxes on a single fax number at a time)?
