Polycom Trio 8800 - Which Hardware Version is supported?

We are looking to purchase a Polycom Trio 8800 Conference phone (not from RC), but want to ensure we order the proper hardware that will be supported. Apparently for this model there is a version that support Skype for Business/Lync (2200-66070-019) and one that does not (2200-66070-001).

Which version does RC sell if ordered directly through them, or can someone who is currently using one with RC tell me the model number that they have?

We would like to have the one that supports Skype (2200-66070-019) as long as it is compatible with RC.

Thanks.

Hello there,

You will want the Polycom RealPresence trio 8800 conference phone "Open SIP version" model number 2200-66070-001 as opposed to the "Lync/Skype for Business Edition"

Please let us know if you need any help provisioning your new phone:

Hi Tyler, not sure if you're still there or if someone else can assist.... but if a customer has an existing Trio 8800 Skype for Business/Lync Edition (2200-66070-019), is there a way to get it working with RingCentral? Can it be manually provisioned? or would assisted provisioning also work?

Hello!

RingCentral doesn't support the phone so it can't work with assisted provisioning. But our Technical Supports can try to manually provision it for you. You may want to contact them.

Thanks!
