Public and private are both qualified for graduation. It depends on how you pass the graduation criteria based on the API calls and the permission endpoint.

Go through a great documentation here given step by step with explanation and made it simple.

Also, the criteria is explained here very well : https://forums.developers.ringcentral.com/questions/911/5-api-calls-per-each-used-endpoint-20-in-total-sns.html

Once you pass the app graduation criteria and applied for that, it may require 1-3 days for ringcentral team to approve

There are some reasons that an app may needs to be reviewed by a special team. Particularly if an app is using the SMS permission from certain regions.

What is your app client id?

I got approved. But now I get the error "The requested feature is not available", I didn't get this error in the Sandbox. I'm just trying to send an SMS.

Production Client ID: 9BuKNjDQT5i_0sxH_6-iSA

I see you you got a couple 403 errors when sending SMS. Not sure how you got that in the production while the code works on sandbox account.

Can you double check the fromNumber if it belongs to the current user who logged in (should be different error message though). Which programming language/SDK are you using in your app? I need to replicate this at my end.

As I said, because of the SMS permission, it would take some time for the team to verify before the approval. This is critical for protecting both RingCentral's and RingCentral customers' reputation because there have been some cases where scammers/spammers abuse the messaging service .

Your understanding is much appreciated!

I see. How will I know when SMS integration is approved. On my status it says it's all ready to go.

It says:

"Congratulations! Your app is in production now, which means that users are now able to use your RingCentral integration. "

Hi,

Based on your message saying you were waiting for 2 days for the "graduation requirements", I now review our graduation process to see what were going on with your app. I have gone through your app development history and found out that you just submitted your app for production today 2019-11-20 at 6:22AM and your app got approved immediately.

This is because your app is a private app and the graduation process is done automatically.

Can you explain your complaint above?
