Cisco phone not showing on-hold status

Background - Our office has only two phones and they are Cisco IP Phone 303. Now, when I place a call on hold the button flashes red and normally the other phone will show the same flash. It doesn't, it is not consistent. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Hi Priscilla - we didn't issue any firmware updates that could have caused this. Not sure what the root of the problem is. If you continue to have issues, please open a support case to get assistance.
