using headset with IT softphone customer can;t hear me

I have RING CENTRAL AT WORK I USE A HEAD SET,CUSTOMERS CAN NOT HEAR ME, WHEN i GO TO AUDIO UPDATE, I SELECT MY HEADSET, AND IT GOES RIGHT BACK TWINDOWS DEFAULT,
