RingCentral iPhone App Creating Duplicate and Incorrect Contacts

When I call a contact from my address book within the ringcentral app on ANY iphone NOT using VoIP, a NEW contact is created with the person I just called name and the CALLER ID phone number (main company phone number). Now I have a duplicate contact with our office number and the customers name. This happens EVERY TIME we call a customer so please imagine how many contacts that is creating. Ring central acts like this is only happening to me. That cannot be the case! Anyone having this problem? Have you fixed it?

I have the same issue since day one and no help from Ring Central on this. I have to keep searching for those contacts on my and delete them.

It's pretty annoying.

There is a "sort of" fix for this. In the mobile app go into yo Mobile App Settings.

Then RingOut Mode.

Then instead of using "My iPhone" select "Another Phone". Enter you mobile phone number.

The app will no longer make duplicates contacts with your number in them.
