URL call is disabled and the network is down on one phone out of 9. The phone worked about an hour ago.

There is no dial tone and I cannot receive or call out. I was taking/receiving calls earlier today but within the last hour my phone's network is down and it says 'URL call is disabled.' It is only one phone in the office with this issue at this time.

For some reason, this phone could not get to the Internet.  Either a connection issue or DNS.

Wierd that it is only one phone but that is usually what that error means

Well, if you dont have an IT support person then you could always reboot the phone.  could be something with the network.

Not sure how your network is setup but that is where I would start.

What phone are you using?

Is there a way to resolve this? My computer is on the internet and nothing has been changed or tampered with for the phone to disconnect.

Is your phone getting an IP address?  What about proper DNS information.

Did the cable get unplugged?

Try moving the phone to another port.

This is basic IT trouble shooting

The phone needs access to the Internet and needs to be able to resolve URL's

These are the 2 items that will give you this error

It is a Polycom Soundpoint IP 321.

I unplugged it and restarted the phone several times and it is still down. I even reset the computer to see if that would solve the issue. I am the only one down on the network and have been for almost 3 hours.
