Trying to forward a Google voice number to my new Ring Central number. Google cannot verify the phone.

Our company uses a Google voice number as the primary phone for the business. When I added my new Ring Central number so I can forward the Google voice number here, Google says it cannot verify the phone number. When I click Connect in Google voice for the verify, it does not ring my Ring Central number so I can enter the verification code.l

Ben, I'm getting the below error message when I try to port my GV number to RC.

The phone number you entered cannot be transferred at this time. If you still would like to have the number work with your RingCentral service, you may forward your calls from your current number to your RingCentral account.

What do I do? I've already unlocked my GV number.

It just worked for me by listing my RC number as "Home" in GV. Hope it won't be intermitted success.
