Our company hours are set to 24 hours and we want to simply take voicemails at the moment when a customer telephones.
We have a custom message that plays when our number is called, but then the message just waits about 5 seconds and starts to play again.
There is no 'tone' for the customer to leave a message after the custom greeting plays.
In RingCentral back office, under 'Business Hours Greeting' there are 2 options:
Connect to operator
Disconnect
Neither of these are what we want! We simply want to play our custom message which guides customers to our online chat or they can 'Leave a message after the tone' so we can get back to them.
However, there is no 'tone' signal and the system does not record any message.
I know I must be doing something wrong but I just can't seem to find it!
Help greatly appreciated.
