Our Incoming call Presence is not working. Here is how our RC is setup. Out main number goes to ext 10- which then rings 6 phones. However the line presence is not show if phone 2 answers the call. I have been told this feature is not yet available. I have done other testing by forwarding our main number to physically phone- from there forward the call to the remaining 5 phones. When a call is answered the line presence only shows what phone it was forward from. Would this work if out main number was also our DID on all the phones. The line presence works great only when the DID is dialed or making outgoing calls. Thoughts?

try this, make sure ext 10 has rights in the presence setup and for each of the other extensions that EXT 10 is in the permissions list.

Ext 10 doesn't have call presence as there is no phone assigned to it. It is just a group to allow all phones to ring. If noone answers the call is goes to a central email/voice-mail. However all users/extensions have permission under ext 10.

OK, with that said, what is the core issue?  A call comes in, someone answers it,  they put it on hole and no one else could pick it up?

No- the core problem is, is that there is no incoming call presence. Call comes in- hits the call group- phone 1 answers. Then there is no line presence on the remaining 5 phones. We never know who answered the call. If phone 1 answered and puts the call on hold- that same call cannot be monitored on other phones because there is no line presence. The call presence only works if the phone is dial directly using the DID or making outgoing calls. If an incoming call is dialed to the phone DID the line presence works along with putting the call on hold and being able to pickup from any other phone. My thoughts- can we put our main number as a DID on all the phones? or is incoming call presence with main number just not an available feature? Thank you.
