Ever Since the April update to ring central my polycoms sidecars have not worked.

Pre update, all users needed to do was add a phone number to there phonebook and the extra spots on the sidecar populated with the contacts (you could edit the order in advance options) 

Since the update the extra lines are blank and can not be programmed. Called support and they told me it was a issue with phone's firmware. I factory reset it and it works normally with the sidecar being fully programmable, but the minute I configure it to provision off of ring central it stops working.

This is a Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 , with 4.0.2.11307 ( it tried 5.x and 4.1.x firmware to no change)

Already had support close the original case (  03554156 ), just open a new one  03605518 if you want to try and fix this annoy.

We are already looking into this. There is a limitation depending on weather or not you want, or need to use the Presence feature. If you have presence enabled, then the Favorites will not work.  Do  you have presence enabled or do you need Presence?

The "allow others to see my presence "?  that is on but i can disable it.

I really want this to work and will try anything at this point.

I just tried deleting all contacts in the presence tabs and that didn't work

Now i have the phone User's name across all 20 softkeys in the sidecar.

Did you disable the feature online yet?  This page shows how to turn it on/off:  How to set up Presence permissions for your own line

Then, you should be able to add the favorites on the phone.
