FAX error: The country and/or area you attempted to call has been prohibited by your administrator.

I cannot send fax to an international location.

In my "Billing page", the "International Calling" is not disable nor the country where I want to send my fax.

Thanks Mike for your reply.

The fax number is in Morocco: +212 528 23 04 61
In International Calling section of billing, Morocco is enabled and I have:

Everything looks correct.  I'll do some research on this and get back to you.  Have you by any chance tried to send it through your email using 011212528230461@rcfax.com

Can you let us know which method you were trying to use?  email/outlook, FaxOut (RC Desktop app), or a machine using an ATA?

Hello  Andr LeBon

I"m not sure if you've tried sending the fax via your email client, but I spoke to our Product Team and if the Desktop app is dropping the "011" and replacing it with the "+" sign, it should still send. If it's not sending with the "+" sign then that region may be blocked on the back end even though you have it enabled on your account.  If it still wont' send using the "+" sign, then use this link to  Open a Case and include the number you are faxing from and any fax numbers in that 212 region that you need to have unblocked. and just request to "unblock this region".  There are a few places that are purposely blocked due to fraud and this might be one of them.

Hi Mike,

Yes I am trying to send it with my email client and it does not make a difference whether I used 011 or +, in the RCFAX log, it shows with a +. I will open a case, thank you!

You're welcome! and I did get confirmation that Morocco was one of those blocked areas so they should be able to fix this for you.

Can you tell us what the number is you are trying to fax too?  We can try to test it from our end.

Also, are you pressing 011 + country code + number ?
