ring central for salesforce

Ring Central console inside of Salesforce appears to be making an outbound call (to a Contact or to a number I enter) but then it behaves like an inbound call to my Ring Central number.  Can't hang up and it's not actually doing an outbound call

Sounds strange. Can you check and see if you have RingOut enabled and turn it off?

Where would I do that? From within the Salesforce Softphone or standard RC?

No RingOut is not ON, Direct Dial is.

ok thanks. Sorry for the delay. Sounds like you found the setting. Let me do some checking to see what else might cause this.

Hi Greg, I did some checking with one of our engineers and that setting doesn't matter when using SalesForce. so we'll need to dig deeper and research this for you.  Can you use the link below to open a case and provide the time, date, and phone numbers involved?
