Problem with Texting

I'm having a weird problem texting from the windows desktop app.  It happens only with one person...everyone else in fine.  When I text this person, I have to delete any prior texts to him and start a new one.  I can then send one text.  After that, I have to delete the thread and start over otherwise my word count says -160 and won't let me enter anything.  I have tried deleting and re-adding the  contact but it did not resolve anything.  I text this guy regularly so this is getting old fast.

Any suggestions?

That does sound strange. Can you use the following link to open a support case. Be sure to include the number you are texting from, and too, and include some times/dates of examples.
