Fax: How can I fax from cloud storage- SkyDrive, Box, or Google Drive?

I was wanting to know if its possible to set Microsoft's SkyDrive as my cloud fax and not use box or dropbox

Ben and RC team, Smart Life is an Authorized Dealer and we actually receive this request quite often as well. It would be nice to come up with some sort of "top requests" list based on the incoming manual requests. Then, when X-number of manual requests are posted then ask the public using some sort of polling method and gather a little background need info along the way. Another request we hear often is about a drag-and-drop software interface for moving calls around in larger implementations. Prior to being at Smart Life, I was with AT&T and we saw these requests relative to the Office@Hand solution often as well but rarely were they documented or communicated to RC.

Any updates on onedrive/ office 365 integration.  Definitely a deal breaker

What functionality with Sky Drive are you looking for?  The RC Desktop app does recognize the Sky Drive just like any other drive installed on your computer.

If you install the Microsoft OneDrive application on your computer, you can access files from your OneDrive cloud storage the same way as documents stored on your computer's hard drive.  Once you install the app, it will appear in the list like shown below, allowing you to browse for files in the same manner as if they were on your hard drive.  This process is the same for users that prefer Box, or Google Drive. 



To fax from any of the Cloud storage options, you can either open the Softphone application and attache the file by browsing the folders shown above, or, you can open the file directly from the cloud storage location, choose the print option (usually File>Print) for Microsoft documents, and then from your available printers choose RingCentral Internet Fax.  When you click the Print button it will send the document to the RC Desktop application.
