Touch Tone Commands/Function Key

Does anyone have the link to the PDF of the OLD listing of touchtone commands for landlines or NON-Smartphones? There was a pdf that told you about using ## for hold and *9 to record and the menu numbers in voicemail. We need a copy of that pdf and can't find it anywhere in support because all the searches just bring up conferencing information.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Kenneth Kilgore,

This may not be the exact list that you were looking for but I think this will help.

Hi Rob,  it was copied from the page here:  http://success.ringcentral.com/articles/en_US/RC_Knowledge_Article/901?retURL
You can probably copy the chart and past it into Word or Excel.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled What key can the caller push to go directly to my voicemail?. This is going to be a really easy question, I hope. I just cannot find the answer among all the information I have searched.... when a caller is hearing my connection message, what key do they push to go directly to my voicemail? I'd like to list it in my connection message, thanks!

After dialing your extension, they can press # to go to your greeting and # again to go directly to record... Or basically your extension then ##.... Easy enough.

Lynn, after some testing here is what I was able to do.

On your account create a message only extension that has the same greeting as your voice mail

This will have a different extension number than your phone but we could redirect the message to the mail box connected to your phone.

So once that is created and you have a greeting saved, then in your "Connect message" you say

" hi this is Lynn, to be transferred directly to my voice mail press (Ext number)  What ever number you assigned to the message only extension..  Make sure you have some silence in your recording after you tell the person to hit the extension and it shoud work fine.  Being a hosted system you need just a few extra seconds in the recordings to allow people to make a selection ETC.
Let me know if this makes sense.  I have tested and I know it works but I am not sure how familiar you are with doing these things in RC

Thanks
