Desktop App: Another softphone is running - problem

Trying to install latest Ringcentral softphone and I get a message saying another softphone is already running.   How do I find out what that is please ?

You might have the Legacy Softphone still installed. It will be labeled "Softphone" when you go to uninstall.  The only one you want on the PC is the RingCentral for Desktop (Windows or Mac).
