When you say you want to change the layout of the screen, what specifically are you trying to accomplish? Do you want to add speed dials to any unused soft keys that you have on the phone? Do you want to change preferences, or ring types, etc.?

To start you off, not knowing what you are trying to do, to change preferences, etc., press the Home key (it looks like a house on it).  Here you can go to settings, or directories, etc. to make any changes.

If you are looking to add speed dials to the soft keys you simply hold down the appropriate and corresponding softkey for two seconds, it will automatically go to the location where you can add in the external contact or other information (like on-demand call recording).

If neither of these two solutions are what you are trying to do, please advise with more information. We can't help you if we don't specifically know what you are trying to do.

I guess I want to change soft keys. We have two set for "Hold" or "Park" as it says on the phone, from there certain phones have a direct line to other company employees, that is what I need to change, they are the wrong ones for her location.  I changed my phone a while back but I didn't change it using the phone itself, i did this thru the website I just can't remember how I got there.  

The "direct line" would involve Presence (the ability to see other person's call status). Setting the soft keys for "Park" would be something you can do by holding down the key and setting up the park code.

For setting up the Presence, there are a myriad of Knowledge Based articles on that subject. Not knowing how you are specifically set up, I have included four of them here which should hopefully satisfy what you are trying to do.
