User Settings: Call Flip between devices - from Desktop App, Mobile app, and Deskphone

Call Flip between devices:  It would be great if a VOIP call can be initiated from the RingCentral Mac Desktop app and then flipped to the RingCentral mobile app on iPhone.

This feature was brought to attention 2 years ago and it still has not been addressed nor implemented...

Hi all,

I just installed the latest version of RingCentral for Mac (v9.2.4.27921). Good to see an update from the RingCentral team! The email that went out on August 2, 2017 was promising, it said:

New Call Flip options        
Soon you can transfer a call from the desktop app to any 10-digit number you enter, rather than only a pre-programmed phone number. This gives you the flexibility to flip a call to your mobile device without hanging up.  Learn more about this new Call Flip functionality.        
Available for RingCentral Office desktop application users on August 31, 2017.
I just tested it out, hoping it would fix this issue. Unfortunately the problem is still there, no way to flip from desktop to mobile app. The only change I can see is that I can enter a custom number to flip to on the desktop app. If I enter my RingCentral extension it rings the desktop app again, but no notification on mobile. 

Someone mentioned blind transfer... how does that work? Any updates from RingCentral on this feature request? Will this get implemented eventually?
