Fax: Bring back, or add additional fields to customize fax cover sheets

With the new desktop app, I cannot see how you can fill out a cover sheet. Other than filling out the number your faxing to, there's no place to fill in the "To" or "Company" etc.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled New Softphone Feature.

The new Softphone version is inferior to the old software. The new version does not allow a company to enter the recipient name and company name, only the phone number. Please bring this feature back or give me back the old Softphone version.

I don't understand why they still are not including # of pages on fax cover page at least what i see here they are not included in the actual body. As far as i know they were always in the header.

I'm still having difficulty understanding why the template can't be created with all the basics...From, To (without having to add them to the contact list), Date, SUBJECT, number of pages, Note...

Account type: Office 2 line
A brief description of the business : not discussed
A high level description of the product or feature being requested: edit the "company phone number" field. currently, it appears on the fax cover page, but it always selects the main company number. customer would like it to reflect a different number on the same account.
A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature: in the user's fax cover page area, there would be a "company phone number" o ption that you can press "edit" for so that you can select a different number on the account.
Benefit of such feature: ease of use. sometimes customers have different office locations that may have its own direct number that they would prefer to have it reflect instead of the main account number.
