Mobile App: set as default

When I select a number in my phonebook for an outgoing call, can I have the ringcentral app selected as my default phone app so that the number dials through voip or ringout? Same with txt.

It worked on my partners phone for a little while. But now neither of us can get it to work?

Same issue here. Cannot set RC Phone as Default app.
User impact: Cannot use car bluetooth to dial or answer calls - dangerous!

Case details:
Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T377W
Android 7.1.1
RC Phone version 10.1.1.1.2
