The ability to add the page count to custom cover sheets should be made available as soon as possible. If other cover sheets provided by ring central, such as the Contempo cover sheet, have this field it should be something that can be made available for custom sheets. Just as we are able to write things such as "{Date}" to auto populate the date, there should be similar code available to auto populate the page count. The fact that to page count appears in the header, isn't a good response to this issue. It appears so high on the page that it is useless as it lands outside of the printable region of many machines and will be cut off. Thank you, and I hope this feature can be made available soon.

Agreed it has been way over a year since I first requested this and I agree. It is clearly possible. Not only is it possible it should be easy to do. The fact ringcentral hasn't pulled there heads out of there asses on this one is beyond me. Come on ringcentral get it together.

RC developer has a general disrespect of fax functionality.  In fact the fax functionality has been systematically reduced, downgraded and removed in each iteration of window desktop upgrade.  It's certainly frustrating.

I will be contacting my account representative and discuss about the continuation of RC as our office fax system.  

some what agree... how difficult can this feature be? They have it function on standard fax pages so clearly it is possible. I feel this one is kind of a no brainer.

I agree with other posters that this feature is an important one, and really needs to be included. It is not a "bells and whistles" feature request, but is considered standard fax requirement for ALL cover pages so the recipient can know if any pages are missing when a partial fax is received. It should be fairly simple to include. Please add this feature ASAP. Thanks!

Well, glad to see I am not alone. 2018 and making an custom confidential fax cover page with HIPPA warning, and there is no way to include the number of pages as an automatically generated field when sending a RC fax. 

Yes it is in the header, and this fax will get sent to one department that sends it to the next, and then one more time... will the header survive that? Will the fax make it in one piece? Will each receiving department have the "Print Header" feature turned on in their fax machine? 

I am left to hope that the fax gets where it is going, with all the unknown pages attached, and the request for additional services is received in its entirety so we can maintain continuity of care.
Thank goodness we don't specialize in cancer care, or people would be dead due to missing pages all for want of a page total field on the custom fax page.  

Office management solutions such as ringcentral, should be easy to use, feature rich, and user friendly. I guess since computers are new to the office environment we will just have to wait until new technology develops....

I can not believe that RingCentral does not have this "essential" feature when using a custom cover page. Its absolutely critical in the health care industry that we have this information on the cover page. If you used the generic cover pages, its showing there so there has to be some sort of "hidden" field somewhere. We can NOT use the generic cover pages as we need to have legal compliance information on the Cover Page. EVERYONE Please 1+ this feature so the engineers can get it to the next release, otherwise RingCentral says they wont do anything about it. 

I will be closing my account at the end of this year because of the lack of a coherent response to all of our requests and also a complete lack of customer service to put this feature in to the software.
