Is there a Mac keyboard shortcut for toggling DND (do not disturb) on the softphone?

PLEASE PLEASE add!!!!  This is SUCH a basic feature. You need (1) Mac contacts integration and (2) hotkeys. Everytime I call and ask, someone in the philippines (who has about as much idea of what's going on in engineering as the ficus next to me ) assures me it's being worked on. Meanwhile, I can't get dialetic to work on 6.5.1 with Yosemite and the dialetic engineer won't respond to multiple emails asking for an update. Has anyone else gotten dialetic to work?

one that launches the contacts book. So, without touching mouse, I can (1) launch app (don't need RC help here...that's a system-wide setting and easy to do with Alfred or any number of other apps) (2) launch RC  address book (linked to Mac address Book!!)  with hotkey from WITHIN  app (that's where you come in, assuming you're an RC developer!!), (3) navigate to caller with tab and arrow key,  (4) choose number (mobile, work etc) and (5) hit "return" to place call

So, the big missing piece is (2). Please help!!!  Would make a great product perfect for me!!

I just converted to a Mac book this year and I am not using my address book, but if RC supported integration I would.  It would be nice if RC had a cloud based address book that would sync across my devices.  Maybe two tabs in your address book one tab would be your RC address book and the second tab would be your integrated address book such as mac\android address book.

As I know there are hot-keys, Softphone 6.5.1 and up:

  • Ability to expose launcher screens using hot keys.
    • Dial pad (Cmd/Ctrl-D)
    • New message (Cmd/Ctrl-N)
    • New fax (Cmd/Ctrl-J)
    • FCC (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-C)
    • Video Conferencing (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-V)
  • Ability to send call to voicemail (Cmd/Ctrl-Shfit-I)
  • Ability to screen voicemail (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-S)
  • Ability to forward the call (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-F)
  • Ability to handle an active call:
  • Mute/Unmute (Cmd/Ctrl-Shfit-M)
  • Hold/Unhold (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-H)
  • Transfer (Cmd/Ctrl-T)
  • Park (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-P)
  • Record (Cmd/Ctrl-R)
  • Keypad (Cmd/Ctrl-K)
  • Flip (Cmd/Ctrl-L)
  • Add (Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-A)
  • End Call (Cmd/Ctrl - E)

Missing a KEY (and obvious) one: Bring up contacts book.  This is one that gets used by many of us for EVERY call!!

oh..and make sure the "tab" and arrows key work to navigate around while in address book. We should not ever need to touch mouse to find a contact, choose a number (e.g. mobile, work etc) and dial

F6 will dial any highlighted number, so highlight a number on a webpage\n e other app and hit F6 and boom RC calls it.

Its a plugin for Alfred (http://www.alfredapp.com/) that, among other things, can be controlled by hotkeys, can access your Mac contact book, and can dial-out over RC.

The problem is that it doesnt seem to work with RC6.5 and the developer is AWOL so its not clear hes going to upgrade it. Ive tried everything to reach him but no-luck.

Our CRM (Solve360) can be invoked by an incoming call on RingCentral Softphone for Mac, but one cannot invoke RingCentral from the web CRM.  According to Solve360 "The two most commonly supported protocols are  TEL and  CALLTO. In most cases, they're simply referred to as " click to call" feature, and applications such as Skype and other VoIP tools utilize this feature to dial out. "

They point to the Win F6 feature, but identified that RingCentral does not appear to enable this in the Mac version.

Having general tools that can help many applications is as helpful as specific integrations (SalesForce) - especially when one does not use that platform.
