Mobile App: set as default

When I select a number in my phonebook for an outgoing call, can I have the ringcentral app selected as my default phone app so that the number dials through voip or ringout? Same with txt.

What the holdup here? 3 years after the request and again no feedback after 4 weeks.  It doesn't even need to be the "default" call from app, but atleast be select-able when you click on a phone number via the web, gmail, outlook, contacts.  Anything aside from having to copy the number, open up ringcentral app, browse to the dialer, paste the number, and then call.  Its a time killer for my techs who are out in the field and need to get ahold of someone quick.  Every other voip/calling app I've seen has had this feature since day one.  I understand that you guys outsource this stuff, but please oh please add this feature!

I need to this for my every day functionality I was actually under the impression this feature had already been unlocked however I can't see the ability to change to the default.    Please get this fixed ASAP.

I don't know if we'll ever see the ability from the big phone makers to allow the ability of a 3rd party phone app to override (become the default) over the phones native application.   So, the best solution is to allow the mobile app to access your contact lists.  Then initiate the call from the contacts screen.

This appears possible as of Android 6.0+ as Applications -> Default Apps -> Dialer is an option.

zoiper, csipsimple both offer this functionality for calls. and Facebook Messenger offers it for SMS.

id like ability, when looking up a number in Outlook COntacts on my Windows PC. to just click on the number and have RingCentral dial that number, and log the call. Can that be done.

It appears that RC Android will now take control of the dialer, but the SMS issue is still there. Can you please adjust the Android app so we can set RC as the default SMS sending app.
