Voicemail indication from department showing up on user extensions.

I have the Polycom VVX310. As of now, the red voicemail light will only blink if there is a voicemail for that specific extension. I wish the light could also blink if there is a voicemail present for a department that the extension was also a member of. Then, clicking the 'mail' button on the phone could direct the user to the correct mailbox containing the message.

You should look at Packet8 ( 8x8.com) because their system certainly does show calls from the extension and all departments that that extension is assigned to.  I think sometimes that people forget that some of us use our desk phones more than others, and this is a feature that needs to be fixed.  Too often I miss department messages because I don't see the email coming in for one reason or another.
