MMS/picture message ability

I am extremely happy that you have added SMS/text messaging ability to your system. It was one of the things I was waiting for. But since I have signed up I've found that customers try to send me MMS/picture messages. This is usually to aid in solving a problem or questions. While I know none of the other competing products have this either I think this would be a great offering to differentiate you from the pack. In another forum I cam across a suggestion of having the picture being sent to the users email instead of the normal route. I know a lot of people that use MMS daily on their mobile phones and since I'm using my Ring Central number as my main one for customers it does kind of lack that feature. I have to then give out my cell phone number for them to send me the picture. A couple of times I didn't even know that they tried to send me a picture. Please consider this option.

I would like to also see the MMS feature come to Ringcentral. That would be a huge help not having to give our our personal number.

We would love to have this. My wife wants to be able to send pictures of her client's eye glasses when their order comes in via text message. For now she has to send from a separate cell phone, which is a horrible customer presentation compared to the rest of our phone presence.

Ring Central..can we get some kind of response to this request? Obviously there is no intention of doing this, this thread is being ignored by Ring Central. Maybe once a competitor offers it, they will come around. We can keep hoping...

Sorry nobody has responded here yet. We appreciate everyone's comments here as this is just one of the ways that we measure interest in our future product developments. So, your comments are being seen by our product team and all idea suggestions here are reviewed. I'll do my best to get a status update on this, and the other idea topics for you.

Hi Anthony, There is nothing planned in the near future for this, so if our Product Team decides to do this it will probably be down the road. But, I can't say for sure, if the demand for this heats up anything could change.

It has been 2 years now... Any progress or update on intentions for this MMS feature? Consider working with Twilio for an MMS API?

Has there been an updates on this? I am sure if more people knew how to comment here the general public would see this as a much needed feature and there would be more comments. I have people using my person number to send pictures over and then trying to call me back on it instead of the office. Even google can provide MMS with there phone numbers. When a MMS comes in it comes in as an email which would be perfectly fine.
