Downloading RingCentral Android App on non-UK phone

I'm working for a UK based company which provides me with a RingCentral account. However, I'm live in Spain, working as home based office. Since I live in Spain, I have an Android phone with a spanish carrier, but looks like I cannot download the RC EU android app for that reason (I guess you need to have an UK phone). Is there anything I can do to have the android app installed in my spanish phone? Does RingCentral provides this app out the Google Play store? Thanks, Manel

Hi Manel, Sorry for the delay in responding to you, but I just found out that this is in the works. There are some detail that must be worked out but it will soon be opened up for a few new countries including the UK. I don't have an exact date but it could be within a week or so.

Hello manel.fernandez,

I just got word from our Product Team, that the app is now available in the UK. Let us know if you have any problems downloading the app.

Also, the app is now available in about 20+ other counties and the list is growing. If you are curious about another country, just post here and I will look and see if it's available.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Cannot download North American Ring Central app on UK iphone. We have a North American ring central number that a UK person needs to make and receive calls from. Unfortunately their appstore only allows them to download the UK version of ringcentral and thus does not allow them to login to the north american ring central account. It was suggested to us that we try to login to the appstore using a North American apple account. We tried that with no success.

RingCentral Support tells me that they are aware of the issue but that doesn't do anything for me right now.

Hi Jon, Please see post above. You should now be able to download the app in the UK and several other foreign markets.
