Why is there such a long delay before callers ring through to me?

From the time someone calling me dials my number and hears the "hold" music as my phone is being "found" to when it actually rings on the callers end it's exactly 60 seconds which is too long. Is there a way to shorten this length of time before they ring through to me?

If anyone has solved this problem before please share how with me! :0)

Thanks!!

If you change the set up and forward the calls to a created virtual extension instead of forwarding to a single person or a call queue, you can change the virtual extension setting to ring a certain number of times instead of for a set amount of time (example: 4, 5, 6 up to 15 rings) before voicemail picks up.  This allows you to bypass the minute requirement.
