Why do I receive the error message "Could not contact boot server" when setting up my Polycom phone?

when i try to boot my polycom phone, i get 1. updating initial configuration 2. could not contact boot server 3. error loading serial number.cfg this phone has worked for years -- what is happening??

I have the same issue, since December. Your support staff have missed 3 scheduled calls with me to resolve this. My entire company has had bad experiences with your support and are now asking me to change providers. PLEASE contact me at rachel@mailroute.net to help me setup my phone! It has nothing to do with the local network. My network is fine, I have a 5gig Airport booster -- all other devices are working perfectly. Just not my RingCentral phone...
