Our production manager has a desk in his office, but is often in the warehouse working. He wants to be able to answer calls on the fly while he's in different locations. Unfortunately, his cell phone doesn't get good service in those locations, so transferring doesn't work. It appears RC doesn't offer any portable phones without requiring an ATA. I don't like this solution because it means his desk phone will then be a cordless with limited functionality. I want him to be able to attach a phone to his belt and carry it around, but also have the full functionality of the desk phones RC sells. I can't be the first person to ask for this. What solutions do you have?
