how do I change how many rings the caller gets before it goes to voicemail (or how many seconds it rings)?

It seems to go to voicemail too quickly - can I change how long it rings (I like callers to get the nice music while they are being connected

I also answered this question on my own.  Turns out, the second count will only go as long as the audio file that you have setup to play on dial.  i.e.:  If you have an mp3 song loaded that is only 27 seconds, you will only ring for 27 seconds.  I put in a much longer song and now find that it rings just as long as the song before dumping to voicemail.  FYI. =)

When I go to call handling it says the number of seconds. How can we choose the number of rings? It says 20 seconds and the Info graphic says 5 seconds is one ring, but our phone rings for more than 4 rings.

Hi Martha,  Sorry for the confusion. This is an old thread and the option was changed from "number of rings" to "seconds" quite some time ago.  Five seconds is equal to approximately one ring.  There's always a little variance depending on network speed.
