We have added a digital line, assigned it to an extension, and downloaded the latest SoftPhone app (for Mac). We wish to make an outbound call from the Softphone app, not via RingOut. However, under Dialing, the Softphone option under "When using SOftphone as dialer, make the call using:" is greyed out / not selectable. We received credentials when creating the digital line (a user name / password / authorization ID), but no amount of using these to configure the account information in the Account Information tab is working. We are currently using the login information for the extension itself that is assigned to the digital line. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
