Can RingCentral integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM?

Our small service company based in the UK uses Microsoft CRM. Our staff are mainly home based and we want to use our CRM system to log incoming and outgoing calls as well as update CRM at the same time. The are specific plug-ins for CRM but they are mainly for use in an office environment. My question is whether Ring Central would/could provide the solution. Geoff Berry

Yes many of us would and I would like to see an update on this from Ring central. Can someone get back to the customer base on the ability to integrate Dynamics CRM with Ring Central?

Hi John,  This is a pretty old thread and has been inactive for over a year. However, as Ben commented below, we do now have our API's opened up which opens a lot of doors for 3rd party integrations. We started a new Developers Community which you can access using this link:  Developers Community  I'm not sure how much interest there still is from other users, but if you post to the Developers Community, you'll find they are a better source if information on this subject and there might be other like minded community members that can chime in.

Ben, as a RingCentral authorized dealer, I can tell you that Microsoft Dynamics integration with RingCentral would be huge! I don't see the point of RC viewing Lync as a competitor as I don't know of anyone who uses Lync as a phone system. Lync works for voice and chat internally but it's much like live messenger. Who used Live Messenger as a phone system. In fact, who uses Skype as a phone system for that matter? Ring Central does not sell or make a profit off of SalesForce so I would think you'd want integration with any major CRM system.

Currently - Dynamics CRM and Lync Online will only support "Enterprise Voice" if the end user/company has a Lync Server on-premise or hosted thru a 3rd party.  Clearly not a viable solution to just to have inbound and outbound calling, especiallly for those small firms trying to go 100% Hosted IT.  The voice services that RingCentral has is far more robust than Lync will be anytime soon. Sorry but Salesforce sucks as a CRM.  The crm we wanted of course does not have the connection to ringcentral.  So i started looking for other and it looks like RingCentral will lose out on another deal because of lack of 3rd party connections.

Maybe RC should look into the top CRM programs from the BOSSIE Awards from 2012/2013 and start from there.

Good Luck
