Softphone app shrinks my outgoing faxes

If I use the softphone application installed on my computer, it shrinks the size of the fax by like 30% vs. me logging onto the internet and sending them which is perfect at 100%. I send a lot of faxes with multiple pages and it is a lot easier for me to use the application. Does anyone have any suggestions?
