It seems faxing with
https://service.ringcentral.com/faxapi.asp always produces the same cover sheet no matter which one is selected in the post request sent to the API, even "None". Thinking it might be something to do with the RC account, I have now tried this with two different sets of credentials, getting the same result. It is still possible that both accounts have a setting that is adding the cover sheet, but I can not find how to adjust this setting if so. I have created a basic form to aid in testing, it can be found at
https://secure.aadrugtesting.com/RC_Fax.html Can anyone confirm that this is a problem with the fax API, or a setting with our accounts, or please tell me what about the form mentioned above is incorrect and is causing the cover page selection to be ignored? We signed up for RC specifically to use the fax api, and if we can not make it work without including a cover sheet each time then we will need to find another solution.
