Softphone doesn't have echo cancellation. That means you can't really use it without headphones. In speaker phone mode any sound will produce an echo to other callers This is also why DTMF tones are not recognized properly while using speaker phone mode (hit mute and they will be recognized). No echo cancellation should be added and tracked as a modification request if it's not already.
