System not recognizing my phone tones

My RingCentral is not recognizing my phone when asked to press "1".
And, before anyone suggest the phone is the issue, it isn't as it works perfectly on any other system that asked for phone prompts
When I get a phone call, and pick up my desk phone, I'm asked for the options and to press teh key for that option; nothing. I have t set up for call forwarding to my cell which it always does without an issue.
I would just like to be able to use my desk phone.......

Hi Rick, I have seen this happen with different IVR systems.  Examples are door buzzer systems.

The Tones generated by the VOIP phones are not always the same as the ones generated by a analog type phone.

In the case of my customer with the door buzzer, we had to use a ATA adapter and a regular phone for the system to recognize the tones and open the door.

Not sure if this helps but explains a few things

Thanks
