This is for my neighbor, with whom I share an internet connection. Her IP Phone is directly connected to the modem via ethernet cable. I'm on an Observa Telecoms BHS RTA Modem/Router and my ISP is Movistar Peru. The manual is here:

The problem is, most of the time the phone is fine, but sometimes it cuts out for no apparent reason. Is there a setting that I'm missing that might make it more stable? Firewalls are disabled, and I have no special configurations, aside from changing WiFi SSID and password, which should have nothing to do with LAN connection, anyway.
I'm new to this, so please forgive me if I haven't provided enough information. Any help would be appreciated.
