We have a particular client that is within our area code, but is long distance. They are using a rural carrier VOIP phone system in house.
Since we switched to Ring Central, we cannot call this client. these are the options we get:
1. It either rings loudly, then a pause the rings distant and never answers.
2. It rings a couple times, then stops and nothing
3. It rings, then a strange British access recording comes on that says to 'Please wait while we connect your call' and that just repeats with periods of pauses/rings.
4. Every once in a while we get through, but the client can't hear us or it chops both directions.
Now.. if the client calls us, there is never a problem. If we call them with our cell phones (using cell service not app), there is never a problem. We have no other clients that we have problems with. We have tried calling with and without the area code with the same effect.
