can I use my cisco IP phones outside of ring central service?

I have completed my inital contract and now own the phones I was using. I have cisco 303 and polycom phones that I'm looking to get rid of. Can anyone buy these from me and use them on whatever VOIP service they choose? Or are these somehow locked to ring central services?
