I am running RingCentral version 5.16.001.50 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controller. When I log into the domain and run RingCentral it is working correctly. At this point I connect to the server through Remote Desktop Connection to run a Medisoft program. RingCentral shows that it is running in the system tray in my RDP session. I click on it and the window comes up. I click on the envelope to check my messages and receive the following error, "RingCentral Softphone encountered and error accessing your Local Messages. Please contact your System Administrator to check your user access settings (Error 5). I've assigned all access rights to everyone in the \\Server\Program Data\RingCentral folder on the server. Is there a security setting in the RDP user profile or a directory I can check to resolve this? We just installed a new server and RingCentral was running in the same environment on the old server (Server 2008 R2 connecting through RDP.) This new server is running Server 2008 R2 in a hyper-V environment with Server 2012 as the host.
