About to set up pfSense, any tips?

I am installing an entirely new network at our new office, and we are going with a pfSense-custom built router. We have a 5-static IP package from our provider, and I am looking for anyone who has set this type of network up to warn me of problems I haven't thought of yet.

I am planning on putting the VoIP phones on their own dedicated network using one of the static ip's, and using QoS to give them the highest priority in the shaping queue.

My concerns are what traffic should I allow/block with the firewall. I know that VOIP phones are a hacker target, so I want to protect them as necessary, without affecting any of the phone's abilities (to the extent this is possible).

But, any advice or tips is appreciated.

Troy, we've had pfSense for years in our office and switched to RC about two months ago. I did absolutely no changes to our FW. Works perfectly as far as call quality goes.

Not really sure what you need to do since it's already being encrypted/tunneled via SSL/TLS.
