Callers never get to voice mail when they call a shared line
I have a shared line group (2 phones & 2 lines). It serves as extension 1. When callers press 1 during business hours, the phones ring and ring and ring until someone answers. If no one is available, the caller just waits on eternal hold listening to music. I'd like to route it to voice mail after a certain length of time or alert the caller than all representatives are busy. How can I do that on a shared line?
I have had emails from upset customers that they can never get through to us... this is bad for business!
