Something doesn't make sense

Why do I get sent to the community when I have questions? All I get there are questions from others having trouble like me! I need ANSWERS. I have enough questions on my own. I know I MAY find the answer in teh forum but what if I don't?

Hi Steven, this forum is an option for people to get information about the system and solve problems.
I am curious how are you getting sent to the community?  Do you want to talk to support?  is something broken or do you just need more info on how the system operates?

Did you get with your implementation adviser when you signed up?

Well, if you post your questions we could try to help

Lots of experience out here

Thanks

Chuck

Well I got sent here when I tried to find documentation on how the softphone works.  Its a bad software design with a poor user interface.  Its not at all obvious how to do things like setup conference calls, send/receive text messages, etc.  And it sucks that the only way it can display names for incoming calls is if you integrate with Outlook contacts.  Overall a very disappointing piece of software.

I went into your Leaning Center and picked the Softphone topic expecting I'd at least get some instructions on how to do the above tasks.  Instead there was virtually no content and said to come here to the community to learn more.

We're in our free trial and not being able to use the softphone will result in us going to another provider if unresolved.  We haven't yet met with the implementation provider, but this isn't an implementation issue really.

Now add the fact that I apparently can't use my RingCentral account/login to post in this community.  Why do I need to signup for another account or use Facebook when I've got a direct account with this company's web site?  Poor.

Lol, then after signing up to post the above message I get a popup with
" Notify me when others need help:"
Listing 3 different topics I can subscribe to.  So customers are supposed to sign up to be your technical support?  I really want to be happy with this service.  We've got business to do and I'd like to get on with that rather than dealing with a VoIP provider, but you're not making it easy...
