When I use the ring out API, from my computer, and I call another employees direct Ring Central number, Ring Out dials it like I am calling the other persons extension. That is, I hear ring tones instead of the on hold music (as configured) and it never transfers to their cell phone (as configured) and never eventually goes to voice mail. It just rings the desk phone forever. If I dial their direct number manually, it acts as configured. (on hold music, voicemail, etc).
Is this configurable or is it just the way it is?
