New tones when calling out

This week we noticed when placing an outgoing call they was a new tone we heard. It was like one of those new electronic slot machines and for a brief moment I thought I won the jackpot!
This is OK but we were curios why it started, what does it mean and is it a glitch or a new feature we are unaware of. Not to mention when things happen, what does it mean to the system in general. Is there a problem that needs addressing?

The tone is not professional.  We operate a law firm and frequently have clients in a conference room while we connect others over the speaker phone.  It is a big deal and we are looking into alternative services to port all of our numbers if we are not provided with an option to turn this tone off.

This really ought to be fixed ASAP so that we can opt to have this tone or not, otherwise you will loose a loyal customer of 5 years.
