Considering switch from Line2 to Ring Central. Are they pretty much the same thing?

New considering RingCentral. Now use Line2.No traditional landline. If we  switch will we still be able to use our HP desktops for VOIP terminals? How does Ring Central work with our iPhones, iPads, or other digital devices that are VOIP capable? Do we simply forward our primary business number that we will port over to Ring Central and then forward all calls to all devices that we want to use with Ring Central?   Any hints, pros, cons, etc will be greatly appreciated. I am happy with the product, but ring central's customer service is the worst ever!! Expect 40 or minutes for anything you call them about!
