Business SMS character limit?

Is there an unwritten limitation on the number of characters allowed in the business SMS text? If I go over 70 I get a message saying that the message wasn't delivered because it is over 70 characters. 

Obviously, I don't like that. The Windows (Desktop) program even says it can send 160, so why am I getting cut off at 70?

Hi Don,  You should be able to send the full 160 characters. Have you noticed if this happens on all sms messages to all recipients, or is it just certain recipients?  Just wondering if there's a limitation on the recipients end?

I tried to my cell phone, and wasn't able to go over 70.

However, and this is odd, I was able to go past 70 later in the evening. However, it was *after* I had clicked on a contact/history and said 'text' versus typing the number in.

Even stranger, I was able to go over 70 on numbers typed in manually (versus clicking on the contact/history) after that.

That does sound odd.  If you are able to reproduce it again, if possible take notes and  Open a Case so that we can look into it.
