Can't hear the phone ringing on the other end or the person when they pick it up.

When we dial out with certain phone numbers we don't hear the "ring" as the phone is trying to connect us, nor do we hear the person on the other end when they pick up.  It has never happened before and it appears to occur only with local numbers.  When calling my home phone (comcast) from my work phone (ring central), the same thing happens but the call goes through once voicemail takes over.  Could it be some incompatability with comcast phone systems perhaps?

I already talked to RingCentral and they upgraded it to a tier 3 issue, whatever that means, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue.  We are running our phone system off of an ATT router.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Greg,  If it's been escalated to Tier 3 then they are probably suspecting some sort of network issue and they are investigating it.  By now you may have heard back from them but if not you are welcome to post your ticket number here and I'll see if there's any status update I can provide to you.

Dean,  If you are having the exact same problem you'll probably wan to open a case too. Here's the link:  Open a Case
